Yup! you read that correctly: A full set of Hybrid Lashes are $90 Mondays and Tuesdays reg $110. Why? what’s the catch? there really isn’t a catch, the same quality and service as a full price set just discounted on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 am to 10 pm at FCL Burlington and FCL Toronto.
Hybrid Eyelash Extensions
Why is this a big deal? Hybrid lashes are the client favourite over the other types (classics or volumes). A mix of classic lashes and 2D volume lashes create a fuller fluffier lash line while still remaining tasteful. They last longer remaining full longer than classic lashes, have more dimension than classic lashes and allow the artist to be create in design.
Fuller fluffier lashes that last longer AND! you save $20 on Mondays and Tuesdays 10 am to 10 pm at the Toronto and Burlington studio…what’s not to like!

If you’ve stopped by our Eyelash Extension Studio in Toronto at 777 Richmond St West lately you might have noticed some changes. There’s been a lot going on for the ladies here and far away: the #metoo movement, the #enough statements, women of all sizes becoming relevant in fashion etc. It’s been a big year for all the ladies and frankly we deserve it!!! The Toronto Studio has always been pretty but now we wanted it to be STRONG, just like the women we service.
Like Whiskey in a Teacup our clients for strong and fragile at the same time – yes as a woman we can be both. The gallery walls continue to grow with ladies that have inspired us: Rosa Parks, Stevie Nicks, Evita Peron, Madonna….the list grows. We wanted our clients in Toronto to look pretty and feel celebrated for their strength. We’re super proud of the hard working, fierce ladies that some to see us and wanted to make them feel special….they deserve it.

You’ve had eyelash extensions done, maybe one time or maybe many times but you’ve decided you’re over it! Having lash extensions was great, but maintaining them just wasn’t for you, so now what happens? Here are the options:
- You may already have an appt with us for a relash (refill) upcoming at the Toronto or Burlington Studio so! you can either call the office 1.855.721.7108 and change the booking from a relash to a removal. Or you can just let the lash artist know that you would like them removed instead of relashed.
- You can wait for them to grow off, as you know eyelashes grow in a cycle. Baby hair grows in and pushes the adult hair with the lash extension on it out. After 3 to 4 weeks there will almost no lashes left. Because these are classic single strand lashes they will not look gappy (is that even a word?). They will appear more and more sparse until they are gone.
- If you have decided to go with option #2 you can accelerate the process of the eyelash extensions coming off by applying mascara to the remaining extensions. Remember eyelash extensions HATE waterproof mascara so using it will make the lashes lift off.
- Here’s what you DO NOT do: do not try to remove them at home on your own. Trying to use coconut oil, baby oil or any other kind of oil and rubbing them off is not a good idea. It’s very likely you will affect your natural hair, potentially pulling it out…leaving gaps in your lash line where your natural lashes are supposed to be.
- All this being said, we can only remove the work done within our own studios….annoying I know. However! not all lash adhesives are the same, if a highly toxic product has been used initially our remover (a gentle remover) would not work.
- Does removal hurt?? no not at all….the process is very gentle, just as gentle as the application.
We’d be sad to see you go but we get it….all good things sometimes come to an end.

Corner of Richmond and Niagara
“So here are you exactly?”, we get that question a lot…..and we totally get it. The reason we decided to be located on the second level of a building with double security features is because it doesn’t matter how great the lashes are if staff and clients are not safe. Yes we’re located in the hottest part of Toronto – Queen West, but any hot spot has it’s not so hot activity that takes place after sun down.
Queen West – West Toronto
The studio is open until 10 pm and 7 days a week, making it convenient for bookings but also making it necessary to have additional security in place. Artists are heads down and hyper focused on what they are doing – which is your lashes, they are not tuned into the immediate environment. If someone were to enter the studio with a good or bad intent, the artist wouldn’t be able to react in time. So! for that reason we chose 777 Richmond St West as our Toronto home. We’re located on the second level of the Light Form Flos lofts right at the corner of Richmond and Niagara. A big steel door greets you, buzz 2023 and come on up the stairs. There’s a second security door at the top that’s on a time delay, as soon as you open that door Flirt Custom Lash Studio is the loft directly in front.
777 Richmond St West
We swear we didn’t pick this location to make life harder by not being street level, we chose it because the space is all original wood and beyond gorgeous. Plus, it’s safe as heck….come in put your purse down, let out a deep breath and relax knowing you’re in good and a safe place. Randoms walking in?? Ain’t nobody got time for that…..

Candle light and cowhide
Let’s face it, there isn’t enough hours in the day…work, family, health, chores – its a lot. Add it all up and there’s basically no time left to take care of the most important person: YOU!. Maintaining the “pretty” has to be wedged in between everything else on the go, carving the time out to get the “pretty” taken care of is tough stuff. We totally get it, we’re open until 10 pm Monday to Friday. Don’t stress, it isn’t the same artist working from open 10 am to close 10 pm….we do a shift switch at 6 pm. The evening artist is rested and ready to get lashy with it. You no longer have to feel guilty about being late for dinner, helping with homework or not hitting the gym (sorry that’s not longer an excuse). Go home, eat, change into your comfy’s and then head over to take care of the “pretty”.

Lash Fairies on the loose at our Toronto Queen West Location.
Video Production by Justin Borja
Just hanging out on Queen West makes you feel Hella Dope, the neighbourhood vibes with great independent restaurants, chic shops, the best cupcakes in the city and an appreciation of a cocktail or 5. Because FCL likes to be at the center of anything Dope, we of course opened this location right in the middle of Queen West. The purpose? taking Hella Dope and turning it into Hella SEXY Dope. Nothing makes you feel sexier than having a killer fringe around your eyes.
( One of FCL Toronto’s Clients with a full set)
This is area of of Toronto makes simple beauty hot, when you look around you notice that everyone looks fantastic HOWEVER no one is over the top glam. A calm cool casual beauty resonates, so of course we needed to make sure our studio reflected the vibe of the area…

Hot fun in the summer time! Well almost, anything above zero is considered balmy after the winter we’ve had. Warmer weather means longer days and even longer nights in Toronto, from the office to the closest patio. After 8 hours on the grind a cocktail is in order, dab on a little lip gloss and off you to go! Only if you have lash extensions dollface…more coats of mascara on your peepers will only make you look clumpy. The mascara from the morning has settled into the creases under your eyes making you feel like Rocky The Raccoon. So you use the pad of your finger to wipe along the bottom of your eye…blackness still there. Out comes the make-up compact and a careful application of powder…now you have make-up and mascara settled in the creases. There’s only one solution to feeling fresh to death on the Toronto summer patio scene – Lash Extensions..Straight Up! After work fluff and gloss consists of just the gloss, you are FIERCE honey. Now work that patio like a runway, maybe wear a pair of flats to avoid a face plant.

Ladies in Toronto know how to work it! And know its all about the eyes, perfect brows can make the difference between looking like a million dollars and the hot mess express. Our friends at the The Brow House have paved the way to creating a beautiful frame for the eyes. So now that we have boombastic brows to frame the eyes, let’s create some wake up made up hotness.
Eyelash extensions at our Toronto studio, shower with them, swim, dance like no one is watching with them. Silk extensions applied one by one after a chatty chat with one of our Toronto Lashette’s about design.
(FCL Toronto Lashette Ashley)
FCL is different from other studios in that each application is catered to what is suited to your eye shape much like you’re professionally designed brows from The Brow House.
(FCL Toronto Lashette Lynda)
Located at the corner of Richmond and Niagara, 777 Richmond St West in the heart of Queen West…frame it up girls and then wake up made up.

Close your eyes and open for a BIG surprise! How many times have you fallen for that one, and let’s face it…the surprise sucked. At FCL, you close your eyes and the only surprise is a good one. Unless you’re a fly on the wall, there’s no way you would be able to see what the lash stylist is doing and how we apply the single strand extensions. Take a looky here to see how we doooooooozzzzzzzzzz it, Lynda at FCL Toronto 777 Richmond St West is lashing Shanelle from FCL Brampton:

So….I live a pretty great life ( Hi Haters!). I own a biz, a home, an emotionally dependent French Bulldog ( or maybe he owns me – who knows) and for the most part if there is something I would like to buy, I can or somewhere I would like to go, I can. However, this wasn’t always the case and I can remember clearly what living in your car and wondering “what’s next” was the question of the day. My good fortune is always in the back of my mind as I work through my day. Sometimes, I’m overwhelmed with all the good stuff in my life and I get a little teary – don’t worry I have extensions. Anyway, if I keep taking all the wonderful opportunities/things I have been given without giving back (a) it makes me a selfish cow and (b) it upsets the balance of the universe.
I needed to find a way to give back and of course it had to FIERCE in true FCL style, the event would be to help women in some way ( I have a soft spot for women’s events, I think because I am one). In going with the theme of awesomeness, I also had a network of AMAZING female business owners and I knew I could count on all of them for support. I wanted to bring them together to create a fun stylish event that would reward women for overcoming obstacles put in front of them. And this is where the idea for ROAR came from….because she has come through the fire, now hear her ROAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you follow FCL anywhere online, you’ll often see that we shout out for lash models. After receiving some feedback saying that one lash model “expected” a full set we thought we should clarify the training process and what exactly a lash model is. We don’t offer training to any other aspiring lash artists other than employees of Flirt Custom Lash Studio. All artists are trained by Sommer, certified with Xtreme Lashes as a beginner and an advanced artist. Most recently, another certification was completed with in Volume Lashing through The Lash Bible. We don’t just hire anyone, customer service is #1, a client oriented mindset and a commitment to excellence what we need to see. After the L.I.T ( lashette in training) is hired, hours are spent with senior lash artists within FCL understanding cleanliness, infection control and the process in general. Training is like a slow moving train, we build on skills as they are understood and applied. By the time an L.I.T. is taking lash models he/she has the basics and has practiced on family and friends.
( Lynda as an L.I.T. after practicing she is now one of best lash artists in Toronto )
A lash model should never expect a full set of lashes unless they are spending time with a senior artist learning a new skill. A beginner lash model is given 2 hours to apply as many lashes as they can HOWEVER, the focus is on correct application. Clean lines without stickies, moving in the direction of the intended design and away from the lid. As the L.I.T. has more practice the level of comfortability grows and it’s very possible the model will leave with a full set. A model never pays for the application or materials used, and if they decide they really like the extensions but want a fuller look we are happy to complete the set with a senior artist for $50. So in short, the model will receive a complete full set of single strand silk extensions for $50 regular cost is $150.00. We offer this as a thank-you to our lash models for helping our L.I.T.’s learn a new skill. Feedback is always always welcome but we ask that is done warmly as our lash ego’s can be fragile 😉

FCL has worked hard to become the best in the West ( Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville and Burlington). But like most businesses we are striving for world domination, for now however we’re thrilled to hear ladies are saying FCL gives the best “lash job” in Toronto. Since opening at our newest location – 777 Richmond St West, we’ve only received positive feedback. Lynda never disappoints, she listens to what her clients are asking for and delivers.
( Beautiful cascade..clean application with ZERO clumping )
(Showstoppers! Seamless application and no there is no filter used)
( Even from the side, these are hella gorgeous)
With most lashes from other salons costing $250 or more for a full set, FCL delivers GORGEOUS without a crazy price tag…$150 for a full set and $50 for relashes. Lookin’ good and not feeling guilty about it – that’s the name of our lash game.

Every business has it’s own language, and if we’re working in that biz everyday we can take for granted that everyone around us knows what the heck we’re talking about. Lash language is the same, the most confusing pieces of language are Half Set or Full Set. We’re going to break it down for you:
Half Set: A half set is a great option for people who have never tried eyelash extensions before. This is the only time in application we ever count the amount of lashes applied during the service. 35 to 40 lashes are applied across the lid evenly from side to side, each eye is even in the amount of lashes used. The look is very natural and in some cases depending on age etc a half set can look like like a full set. A half set is not as full as a full set ( pretty sure that wasn’t proper grammar ) but gives a pulled together appearance and can always be added to if you don’t think they are FIERCE enough.
( Half Set )
Full Set: This set is FIERCE, meant for ladies that wear mascara everyday and are looking to ditch the wand. We never count lashes in this design, EVERY adult natural eyelash receives a silk extension. The amount of lashes used varies from person to person and depends on the amount of hair available to lash. Remember, lash extensions are the enhancement of what is already there and not the creation of what isn’t. Most clients, even those that start with a half set graduate to a full set…they always want more a great thing. With a full set there is no need for mascara and you wake up looking as FAB as you did going to bed ( we get it, there are times when that is super important ).
( Full Set )
Love & Lashes!! xoxo
If you’re single then you are most likely online dating, or at the very least have tried it. There’s a TON of sites, some free, some not so free, others catering to a specific demographic. Chances are when you were little you didn’t dream about meeting your life partner via the internet. None of us did, but for the love of cupcakes don’t tell someone that!!!!!! The Dating Tutor – Nicole Melissa puts it into perspective for us:
Saying to a potential partner on the first meeting ” I never thought I’d have to resort to online dating but here I am!. It’s been a nightmare, there’s so many crazy people online and it’s exhausting”. Is just such a bad idea for many reasons, the first of which is that it’s clear you have no desire to really invest in getting to know the other person if you’re sooooooooooooooooooo exhausted by the thought. But more importantly here is what the person across from you just heard you say: “ I feel like such a loser for having to date online, and because online dating is a last resort…you must also be a loser that can’t find a date otherwise. I’m stepping into todays meeting thinking that this is going to be a nightmare because you’re probably bananas but if you work really hard you might just change my mind”
As our Dating Tutor says, “no one wants to feel that way, the purpose of dating is to feel wanted and excited about meeting someone new. Even if it isn’t a love match, be positive and don’t make the other person wonder why they wasted their time…simply put it just isn’t very nice”
The ABC’s of Stylish Dating served straight up…..
Remember when you had a math tutor? It wasn’t that you didn’t understand math it was more that you needed a little help with the basic concepts in order to build on them. You thought you were a math whiz, your report card said something different. The Dating Tutor – Nicole Melissa, sees dating in much the same way. People on the dating scene don’t have the advantage of reading a report card to see what they are not understanding. So they continue repeating the same patterns over and over with the same result. It MUST be the other person right? I mean there is no way it’s me!! Well, the truth is…it really could be something you are doing that is making the process of finding your perfect person next to impossible. You may not have the advantage of a report card but you do have the advantage of having a Dating Tutor to take you Back to Basics with the ABC’s of Stylish Dating. Read on, it may seem simple but we’re building on our dating skills remember?
Here are the 5 top mistakes that people make while dating without even knowing it.
1. Get dressed! Please do not show up to any date looking like a hot mess. Everybody likes somebody that cares about their appearance. This doesn’t mean wear a 3 piece suit, but instead nice CLEAN slacks and or CLEAN jeans with CLEAN SHOES and your best shirt will show him or her that your physical appearance matters to you.
2. Don’t talk about your EX! Chances are you’re not together for a reason. That reason most likely sucks, DON’T REHASH IT.
3. Don’t have a bad attitude…about anything. No one likes a negative Nancy or a Negative Norman. Be polite, be nice to your server( it’s a character thing).
4. Don’t just talk about you. Ask questions about the other person. It shows interest.
5. Don’t worry! It’s just a drink/coffee be your awesome self. Worst case senerio he/she doesn’t find chemistry with you…it’s ok you won’t die. Best case senerio he/she had the time of their lives and can’t wait to see you again. Either way you’ll be just fine.
So Flirt Custom Lash Studio has settled right into our new location at 777 Richmond St West. I’m always running around like a lunatic, not to mention I’m not the hippest creature that ever lived. Lovely Lynda keeps me in the know and was sooooo excited when she saw that Bitstrips was our neighbour across the hall. Of course I had no idea what she was talking about and had to Google to find out that they create instant comic strips starring you and your friends.
Lynda must be finding inspiration from our creative neighbours, her quality of work has always been good. However since the move into the Toronto market, her work has been OUTSTANDING. Creating texture in her designs using single strand silk extensions has become unique to her as a lash artist. With a natural eye for scale, she is using a mixture of curls, thicknesses and lengths.
Ladies all over Toronto are putting down they’re mascara, rolling out of bed in the morning 20 mins later and heading out the door looking like a million dollars!!!
If it’s convenient (meaning you don’t need an appt) and it’s inexpensive then is must be the best thing ever right? Well, not in this case and thank heavens for Lynda at our FCL Toronto location at 777 Richmond St West, these clumps were painful and it wouldn’t have been a very Merry Christmas by any stretch. Here’s what Lynda’s client had to say about her experience with nail salon lashes:
“Notice that the BEFORE picture has clumps of lashes glued together… initial picture was taken after glue had already been removed, so is not a true representation of how bad they actually were.
When the lashes are clumped together, as they grow out at different levels (with different thicknesses/different strengths), the ones farthest from the “clump” become strays and are pulled sideways – horrible. The clumps also grow out and with their weight, grow downwards and poke your eyes; strays break or are pulled out by the glue clump and fall out – bald spots.
I did not realize there is such a science behind the application of lashes.
Lynda did my lashes Thursday. She painstakingly took time to remove the glue, while re-gluing individual silk lashes to each of my own. No clumping, no breakage. They will just naturally fall out with no harm to my own.
Moral of the story: Do your research before going to a lash technician. Don’t get caught with a person or place that wants only money — and won’t even fix a stray lash after one single week because she is afraid you will not go back the following week and pay her the $50 she charges for the “re-lash”.
Our moral of the story? If you want the job done right, you have to pay the right price to have a professional take care of you.
On my first site visit to our new location in the Queen West area, I drove past this adorable little white shop on the corner of Queen St West. I wasn’t sure but I thought I saw giant Macaron’s hanging in the window. I know my pastries and can spot them at 100 yards – just ask my trainer. Anyway, I parked my car and hustled my bustle right over…I opened the front door and my nostrils were flaring like a horse (super attractive). I was standing in Nadege Patisserie at 780 Queen St West, I had heard of this glorious place but here it was less than 1 street from FCL Toronto. The place was buzzing and as it should be, the quality of the offerings are outstanding. The staff is warm and sooooooo patient, I couldn’t decide what I wanted and was overwhelmed with all the things I wanted to try. I settled on a macaron ( ok really it was more than one but sometimes my trainer reads my blog – Hi Kevin!! xoxo). These little suckers had a little bit of a crunch and then the sweetness ( just the right amount) melted on my tongue. A love affair was born, now everything I’m at the 777 Richmond St location – I leave myself just enough time to walk over to greet my new lova lova.
